Apple is hiring 6G engineers for next-generation 6G wireless technology research and development

On February 18, there were media reports that Apple was hiring engineers to engage in the research and development of next-generation 6G wireless technology. According to the recruitment information released by Apple recently, these engineers are located in Apple’s offices in Silicon Valley and San Diego, which are mainly engaged in wireless technology research and development and chip design.
It should be noted that Apple only supported the 5G network for the first time in the iPhone 12 series last year, and its 6G technology is expected to be launched around 2030. According to Apple’s recruitment information, the company’s 6G engineers will have the opportunity to participate in the next generation of wireless technology, and will have a profound impact on Apple’s future products.

Some media have reported that while 5G technology is on the right track, many countries and companies have begun research and development of 6G technology. Among them, Nokia will lead the EU 6G wireless network project. In order to lay the technical foundation for the 6G wireless system, Nokia-led projects will solve six research challenges, including connectivity intelligence, sustainability, global service coverage, ultimate experience, and reliability.
There are a lot of opinions that 6G is expected to arrive in ten years, that is, around 2030. A 6G white paper in Europe pointed out that most of the performance indicators of 6G are 10 to 100 times higher than that of 5G, and the peak transmission speed will reach 100Gbps to 1Tbps, while 5G is only 10Gbps. In terms of specific application scenarios, many 6G white papers mention digital twin and holographic technology.
Digital twin technology is the simulation and speculation of the physical world, which can accurately reflect and predict the real state of the physical world and perform predictive maintenance on it. Holographic technology realizes spatial stereo vision through three-dimensional images of objects and network transmission. This technology will be widely used in communication, telemedicine, military and entertainment games in the future.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mobile phone battery
