According to a recent report released by the media, Samsung is developing a new OLED panel, which is likely to be shipped in the next few years. The new OLED panel adopts a double-layer tandem structure, in which the panel has two emission lines (EML), compared with the single-layer structure currently manufactured by Samsung, the brightness of the OLED panel with the double-layer tandem structure will be doubled, and the lifespan is expected to increase. Four times, which will also further enhance the look and feel of the screen.
It is reported that this new OLED panel will not only be used in the iPad Pro launched before 2024, but Apple is also expected to use this OLED panel in MacBook Pro, iMac and other products.
At present, most of Apple’s flagship products use mini-LED panels, which have the characteristics of high brightness and high contrast. Earlier, some analysts said that Apple will also use OLED panels in the iPad and Mac product lines in the future to provide consumers with more realistic and fuller colors.
