According to the latest data from market research firm Canalys, the global PC computer shipments in 2021 will be about 341 million units, an increase of 15% over 2020 and a 27% increase over 2019. It is the year with the highest shipments since 2012. Full-year revenue was $250 billion, up 15% year over year.

In terms of specific manufacturers, Lenovo’s shipments accounted for 24.1% of the global share, and the annual shipments exceeded 82 million units, ranking first in the world. Another computer giant, Hewlett-Packard, ranked second with 74.07 million units of shipments and a market share of 21.7%, followed by Dell, Apple, and Acer with a market share of 17.4%, 8.5%, and 7.1%. The total shipments of the top five manufacturers accounted for nearly 80% of the total sales of all manufacturers, which also shows that the head effect in the PC field is becoming more and more obvious.

In 2021, Lenovo has launched a series of highly competitive new products, whether it is Xiaoxin YOGA 14s and Xiaoxin Air 14, which are positioned as thin and light notebooks, or Xiaoxin Pro 16 and thinkbook 16p, which are positioned as all-round notebooks. The R/Y9000P series, known as the best gaming notebook, has caused a huge response in the market. In terms of product strength alone, many of Lenovo’s notebooks are indeed benchmarks among models of the same type and price.
