When is the release date for the Google Pixel 7?
Google formally confirmed the incoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro during the opening keynote of its 2022 I/O developer conference on 11 May, promising that both are “coming this fall” and showing off a few official images.
Over the past few generations, Google has settled on an October release for the main Pixel devices, with the cheaper versions appearing the following summer – as we saw with last year’s Pixel 6 series and this summer’s Pixel 6a.
So, if Google sticks to this pattern, you should expect the new Pixel 7 handsets to make their debuts in October 2022 alongside the new Android 13 software.
That’s exactly what leaker Jon Prosser has predicted, adding that the 7 and 7 Pro will launch alongside the Pixel Watch.
