In the future, Samsung may launch more types of folding screen phones. On November 16, LetsgoDigital reported on Samsung&#8217;s patent for another folding screen. The company designed a device that looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, but uses horizontal folding instead of vertical folding.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.cnmo.com\/1877_600x1000\/1876321.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u3000\u3000 Although horizontal folding and vertical folding do not seem to be much different, the aspect ratio of the machine shows that it is more like a hybrid of a laptop\/tablet, rather than a phone that becomes a tablet. The patent was filed in mid-2019 and was approved and published by the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) on November 2, 2021. The document contains six product sketches, showing the phone in folded and unfolded positions.<br>\u3000\u3000Samsung\u2019s patent shows that the machine adopts horizontal folding and dual-hole front camera, which is different from the current Liu Haiping, with three rear cameras. Other designs are not very different from Z Fold3.<br>\u3000\u3000 Whether Samsung really intends to release such a foldable phone is still unknown. The Korean manufacturer is developing multiple models, and only folding devices that provide the best user experience will be on the market. There are rumors that Samsung is developing the Galaxy Z Fold Lite, which is more affordable.
