Compared with LPDDR5, the power consumption rate of LPDDR5X can be reduced by about 20%. In terms of capacity, in order to actively respond to the market’s demand for higher-capacity mobile DRAM in the 5G era, Samsung has developed a single-chip capacity of 16GB and expanded the total capacity of mobile DRAM packages to 64GB.
